New contract for Aaron Murphy : Mon Oct 13, 2014 5:45 am  

The club have announced Aaron Murphy has signed a contract til at least the end of 2018.

For me this is fantastic news, better than a new signing. One of our most consistent players over the last 2 or 3 years despite him covering the whole back line.

Would like to him be our 1st choice full back from now on.

Brilliants news, think every Giants fan will be happy with this! very under rated player and never lets the team down be it at wing, centre or full back.

would like to see him get a run of games at full back too next season.

Brilliant, best signing of the off season for me, superb player and easily one of the most underrated in the whole of Super League...fully deserved too ...i'm over the moon with this news !!

Completely agree, fantastic news!! Made my day when I read this
Whether it's full-back, wing or centre, I'm just pleased we'll be seeing his name on the teamsheet next season and I'll trust in PA to decide where it's best to play him for the benefit of the team.

think broughton started to show some form at the back end of the season but still shaky under that high bomb!

so if he can improve this area that wing spot should become his own

no probs if murphy on the wing but think he should get a run at full back, between him and grix anyway, should be an interesting battle pre season for that spot! with connor in the mix too
