Most likely we only get two full seasons out of him before hes of to OZ

Is it simply we have to accept that the best players we produce will leave a season after they emerge as a talent

Did wigan mess up with not giving him a good contract early this season? Admittedly hes only just broken through this year so in some ways there sesm to be zero loyalty from joe to play for wigan

It seems from an outside perspective that as soon as anyone at Wigan has a sniff of the NRL they're off. Several other players from other clubs have had offers from the NRL in the last couple of years (Hall, Watkins, and Hardaker at Leeds, Hill at Warrington, Briscoe when at Hull, Roby) but they chose to stay here. Is it something about the enviroment at the club, or is it just a combination of circumstances? It's not just about money regardless of what anyone tells you.

Can we keep the whingeathon until we actually get some official news rather than relying on Barker from the MEN.

If you read the WEP it says we're trying to keep him with a new contract.

Maybe it's bred into the players at Wigan to be the best they can and challenge themselves constantly. Downside is that this mentality leads to them looking at bigger challenges beyond the limitations of 'Super League'.
