Forever Reds Highto meeting : Thu Sep 18, 2014 10:10 pm  

Forever Reds are holding a meeting with Paul Highton as the special guest on the night.
For those that are not aware, Paul has left the club & he would like to say farewell to the Salford species, that have been a massive part of his adult life.

It's at Eccles Rugby League Club .....M307LS. Tuesday 23rd September at 7-30pm

It would be great if there is a good turnout to say " thanks & good luck" to Paul.
He was Mr.Reliable in his playing days at the Willows, & when Salford was going through the much documented financial troubles, Paul stood up with the fans in the SOS fundraising & his help & input was fantastic.

We will have a Quiz on the night for a little prize & hopefully a couple of other players will attend.

Alan"rugby genius" Hunte along with Rhino, Karl Harrison will also attend the F/Reds tomorrow, Tuesday for Highto's farewell evening

Great night and some wonderful memories relived, only downside was that more people didn't show up.

Thanks to those that did and a big thanks to Paul,Stefan,Fitzy,Sib,Rhino,Stu and Hunty in no particular order all real RL good guys.

It was a really good evening, as previous poster said, not massively supported, but those who were there were greatly entertained by Highto, Fitzy, Sibbs, Littler, Stef , Hunte & Rhino.
They all had funny stories of one another to relay, laughing about Highto's pranks & things that went on between them all at training.
Also debated the new league structures & how they think they will go. Spoke of how easy the Academy lads have it now they are professional players, all agreed they are in a bubble & not had the experience of, in their words, a proper job!
Got their opinions on who was the worst/best overseas players they had as team mates & their thoughts on coaches they have played for, some really funny/scary stories came from that.
A great night & the camaraderie between them all was very evident to see.
Paul felt very humble listening to his peers talk about him & he & everyone else enjoyed a great evening

Really sounds like it was a good do Shirley, gutted I couldn't get finished in time..
It's all Martin's fault for having his junket in China and leaving poor old me alone in the Blackburn office!!!!!!

A set of 3 keys (on a looped band) was found in the Eccles Club car park on Tuesday evening, which may belong to one of the Salford fans who visited us that night. The Eccles Club will be open this evening (Thursday) from 7.30pm until 9.30pm if the owner would like to collect them. The Club telephone number is 0161.788.0011.
