Forever Reds are once more running our very successful Sponsor A Try scheme. This is a very valuable revenue stream for us and we sincerely thank all who have supported this scheme down the years. You can pledge as much or as little as you like (typical pledges are £1 or 50p per try) for either all tries or just tries scored at home. Regular updates will be sent on amounts owed and I will update on methods of payment accepted soon. Firstly, many thanks to all who pledged their support for this season; very, very much appreciated . Also many thanks to the team primarily for all their tries but also for ensuring the possibly thorny issue of whether or not tries in the play-off should be included was not an issue after all.

The final tally for the season is:-

League tries:
Home 58
Away 53
Total: 111

Total Tries:

Total: 121

FYI: Our top try-scorers were as follow:-

Francis Meli & Junior Sa'u - 14
Greg Johnson - 10
Rangi Chase, Theo Fages & Josh Griffin - 8

I very much doubt that at the start of the year many would have had Theo (who we probably expected to be playing a support role) as one of our leading scorers. Even fewer would have had Josh Griffin on their list of course & it's been a fantastic effort from him to score 8 from 8 since arriving.

We also had 27 different try scorers this year. I would be surprised if that isn't a club record!
