So finally we have got rid of Stanley Gene. He should of gone with Walker and Ulugia. He was the head of the drinking culture so why wasn't he sacked as well?. Im not sorry he has gone and he wont in any way be missed by KR but only by the fans. So you can all slate me as much as you want but I have broad shoulders to take what you say BUT I know I am right. Ask the right people and get the right answers.

Gene has been a great servant to both Hull clubs in the past.

I loved Stanley as a player but I thought giving him a coaching role was more sentimental than anything else I can't ever see him been a top coach but wish him luck with Gateshead

Couldn't disagree with the OP more.

A very sad day for Hull Kingston Rovers.

I love Stan, but as I 've said before I just can't see him as a coach, those type of half backs (and he's difficult to categorise, because if anyone has been a true one off, it's Stan) never seem to know what they're doing themselves, they're so off the cuff.

wow were is this evidence that stan was the main culprit. if this is so were is your proof is it the same as a guy on facebook. saying how players are saying this and that about neil ect..u know players who have left being sacked ect.... does not shock me when they come mouthing off how bad life was at kr but didn't worry about the cash they got for doing it... i for one love stanley and wish him the very best in the head coach role gateshull, sorry head.. and hope he still has a partnership with kr sending our frindge players there to help out

If you look back on the HKR forum I said before that we was selling Burns to saints. I got slated for that and guess what I was RIGHT so why do I need to back my words up and put bull on here. Yes Stan was good when he 1st played for us and no one is denying that but IMO he should never of come back either as a player or a coach. Like every other player who leaves our club we owe them nothing and they will of been payed good money by us to play. But ask the main sponsors of our club about him and you will find out some truths.
