One of the biggest obstacles to our transitional season has been breeching an opponents line although our progress up the field in general has not been a problem. We are learning gradually to get players scoring without relying on the easy option of a Briers pin point kick to set up a score & as a result i think we are seeing some better rugby.
I expected Joel to struggle this year without Briers's kicking ,but the lad's come up trumps & exceeded all expectations thanks to some excellent passing moves within the team. We still need to have a readily available Plan B though for when opponents throw a spanner in the works.
