He was clearly a bit of a plodder at the Roosters. I'm sure the experience will have been great for him though.

Do players really come back from the NRL better than when they left? I can't think of one player that went there and had improved as a player when they came back, and yes, I include Morley.

Casty would have been a good signing for my club, Saints. They need a solid, no nonense prop to help out Amor with the hard work.
I'd also be having a look at Millard, if he's going free. He can cover centre and wing and his experience would help bring on our youngsters.

Matty Russell?

Cant't think of many more - certainly more who didn't come back better - Scott Moore, Thorman, Keith Mason, Ian Sibbitt

Difficult to say with Russell, he was always an excellent prospect.

I think Remi will have improved because of his experience at the Roosters, especially having had Sonny Bill Williams as his team mate to learn from. He acknowledged the inspirational role of SBW in a recent interview.
