Spot on, although to be fair I don't think LC would even have a clue what your on about, he even called to that families house on Christmas eve, such is the stature of the guy. Andy was far more than "The face" of the club, he reached out and connected with the people of Leigh like no one did before. He was far more than just a financial backer to the club, his time and effort WILL be missed and whoever "thinks" they can replace him are sadly wrong.

LC is FULLY aware of what is being said. No one is trying to erase what Andy did with the club, just trying to re-assure people that, wherever possible, nothing will change.

I cannot believe LC is engaging some people on here, Andy has released a statement and we move on. We are custodians of this club and we have implemented a formula that works, why dramatically change it?
Change will happen and the doom merchants will turn up, that's life. The strength of this club is and will be its community, but the reality is income pays wages. So we continue to engage with our community, enhancing the centurions experience for our fans and using this as the springboard to increase gates and create mutual benefits for our sponsors
The shortfall is met by the BoM with the majority shareholder taking on a great deal of this on his shoulders, some out there have agendas to destabilise the business imo you will be very disappointed if you feel you will win

Don't think any one is on the doom and gloom train, I personally think we are playing the best rugby with the best team we've had for 40+ years. I also believe that we are in a better financial pos than for even longer.
Great things are happening in the club but butter it up how you like, the fact remains that the loss of Andy is a set back.

For Pete's sake, can we stop this business of using an "official" Leigh Centurions account on here to engage in back and forth with fans? Let's keep that to official announcements and information only please...it just goes against the professionalism that has been created.

Very, very sad that Andy has gone. The wheels on the bus have not fallen off but they look a bit wobbly now. Still, as we all know, we just have to keep going and hoping that the journey continues!

It's just fan engagement ML. Obviously we try 100% not to get into spats, but sometimes feel the need to re-assure people about matters and occasionally put to bed any untruths or misinterpretations that may arise. We move on. Its evolution not revolution.

Then do so under a different username and unmask yourself as it were - any account purely in the club's name should be used for posting official releases and that is it.
