"They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.
Not able to name them (yes i know that makes it look just like another made up thread) but my mole has had contact with the H.K.R club very recently regarding these players
It's going to be tough, the market of players is not at its best, & your youth is not churning much talent out, Hudge & CC must have a plan, surely or they wouldn't have let another top pivot leave for a fee.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Aye, you struggle to find good hbs, we struggle to hold on to them.
It's a problem but an opportunity too. With Hall going too, we could maybe do with some more cover as well.
Going to have to be inventive - it worked okay (to a point) with you signing a prop out of the French league and a wing off the bins.
And Mike Smith is rumoured to be in Aus, so I'd expect one player from that obvious source. Not sure that should be the always be plan A, given how a few have struggled when coming to SL in recent years - but the net has to spread wide, and I guess it is still the obvious choice for a reason. A punt on a half is a bigger gamble than on a prop or wing.

The calibre of player like Todd Carney are only going to be in SL because of his own downfall back home, otherwise he wouldn't have looked twice, just think we as clubs have seen the last of big name signings, unless they find themselves in these situations, or they are in the twilight of their careers, the bit about your youth is common knowledge to most youth clubs/players in hull, is that KR is miles behind FC, as our lads that are on scholars at both clubs have found out, Briscoe is trying his hardest to rectify this, but it is going to take more staff & money to do, & even boys/lads that support KR have chosen FC because of this.
Talking a load of ill informed knackers as if the local caravan building fraternity knows anything, as usual.
Order Of The Gormclops awarded to you.
Wasn't a dig, just looking at the bigger picture, you've lost most of the spine of your team, & it's back up, & your youth players are not ready to step up. So award what you want to me, this isn't about me it's about your club getting the right quick fix of signings, till your youth is ready.

I didn't mention our youth. Thanks though for reiterating and reinforcing your own point, in case I'd missed it.
