Nothing concrete in there is there. I'm not bothered either way. If he goes we can't really argue, he's always said he wanted another crack at the NRL and after watching the Play Offs, it's clear it's like moving from the amateur game to full time professional, the gap in quality and intensity is that big.

I've never taken to Brown, I've never been convinced by his coaching abilities and he's never got his personality across like some previous coaches have done.

I'm not bothered about Brown either but I'm concerned about the impact this might have on the team, given that they appear to like playing for him. We've just managed to get to a play off semi final.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Yes, I know. I couldn't ever trust Mick Potter when he was at Saints.

Re: Nathan Brown taking flight : Mon Sep 22, 2014 6:24 pm
maybe this is why he always seems not all that intrested when being interviewed after a match......he always seems as though his mind is on something else......rumor had it that daniel anderson rang the club 3 weeks after they had just signed brown to enquire about the coaching position..if true why couldn't he have phoned up 3 weeks earlier!..SIGH!

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: Nathan Brown taking flight : Mon Sep 22, 2014 8:30 pm
So he is one of 8 possibles.

And the appointment will be after the GF. I fail to see the problem.

No one here ever been for a job interview??? Whilst still working.

You don't have to wait to be made unemployed. If I go for an interview tomorrow it means nothing in terms of the job I do whilst waiting to hear the result.

Brown has done a decent job whilst here, rectified some signings and finished the job with Burns this year. Whether he is here to see the result of that building is irrelevant coaches come and go. Personally I hope he stays, but I'm sure he has made Saints well aware and they will have someone ready to take it on. Maybe KC to get the chance at the top.

You do? Oh, ok. Well, I just hope the players feel the same way.
