We're certainly not helping ourselves or endearing ourselves to the public of Salford with negative news stories like this one, especially after the recent story about Vickers and the £164,000 loan.

MEN is loving putting the boot in at the moment. I don't understand why such a story is even newsworthy. All it does is link in another negative story so that the anti-Red Devils brigade can feel outraged all over again.

If this is Smith then the deal is done as says hes off back to oz then back to the team he was loaned to.

Before he came over the club paid for the rent up front and will claim it back off the player.

It also say's

“The flat tenancy ends at the end of October. The player has been playing or another club on loan and will return to play for them after first going back to Australia.

There is only Tim Smith who has been loaned out, the only other possibilty is Jake Mullaney, but he's not been loaned anywhere. He's signed for Bradford full time as of 2015.

The council tax in Salford quays is enough to buy a 2 bedroom semi in certain parts of Wakefield
