I think it has been pretty poor all season. I'm not sure who does most of the coaching of attack but we are so predictable, and lack the sharpness of the best sides. They have so much time to work on and develop this, I can't see why it hasn't improved as the season has developed.

Our attack hasn't been the biggest problem- our defence has.

attack is the best from of defence.. if we aren't defending well then it stops us attacking well as confidence is low and we tend to try and play safety first and don't make the hard yards doing that.

I must admit we are one of poorest at getting over the line from about 10 yards out at ptb. The better teams do it more regularly than us. But yes the defence has been poor, but also l'd say our general skill level has dropped off vastly from the previous season.

we miss a full back who can attack... abit like brett hodgson with those cut out passes... abit like escare with 27 tries...

adds greatly to the team but we lack this.

Having forwards who can take the ball forward , another half to share the work with / cover for brough are far more important.

You will probably post that you agree and then within your next two posts you will be having a go at Grix again.

For someone who spends all their time having a go at Grix's one on one tackling etc you cannot see much of escare other than the tries on boots n all because he is possibly the worst defensive full back in SL.

This year we have not once restricted a club to 1 try or less, something we did 7 times last season. We have also only kept 2 clubs to 12 points or less. Good defence opens up the attack in all sorts of ways. Our defence has been woeful all season.

It said on sky a couple weeks that the Giants are actually the best team at super league at scoring tries from inside their opponents 20 metre line.

i think we have the forwards, they did not show what they can do at wigan, and for most part of this season the whole team has been poor.. anderson wants them to run hard and direct..sometimes we see it but tend to get let down by our completion rate which then means we are busy defending which in turn has an affect on your go forward.

i would like to see another half back, think we are looking at brigning ellis in.

So would I -but play him at Stand Off with Broughy --which means, based OMI, the debate about who plays Fullback goes on --so we are still where we were !

Still cant see Escaret leaving the sunshine for Yorks!
