Do the players feel it like us the fans? That sick feeling when you wake up, the gut wrenching disappointment. I really hope so. It matters so much to us. They need to know.

I'm sure they do...not only is it their job it's their passion too. They know when thy haven't played well, they acknowledge they let the fans down. Remember a lot of our lads are local fellas who have friends/family/ who support the club too - they have to face those people after debacles like Thursday.

I think Thursday night explains exactly why crowds haven't improved since last year. Some people -including ken himself have expressed surprise that following winning the LLS people haven't flocked to the JSS.
I have just read kens interview with the examiner just prior to the saints game where crowds were (once again) mentioned.
Here is my opinion -
The fact that Huddersfield always seem to have this "capitulation" in them is cementing peoples opinions that they aren't real contenders. Hammerings (mostly to wire) have been sprinkled amongst good performances- and often at crucial points/games in the season.
Wire, Leeds, Wigan and saints rarely capitulate like we did and people know it.

Youve written chapter and verse --I wrote "CONSISTENCY" about 6 seasons ago and got so much flack on here for negativity and moaning

It wasnt -it was fact and many are now posting in similar vein

FACT - no good beating the big four --and losing to middle table / bottom teams

The first looks good but its thrown down the drain when they`re beaten by the top teams youve beaten --back to par !

BUT ON A positive fact --we are getting there --Cup Final appearances / LLS / and 3rd is a vast improvement -and alls going well (though steady)--only to be wrecked / put back (like you say) by such as Salford (H) and last weeks V.I game

GET OVERALL CONSISTENCY /PASSION / and a POOR LOSERS ATTITUDE and hopefully the TOP 4 will become 5 Thats what this clubs waiting for IMO

As KD says the increase shown is encouraging but needs to continue
In another topic a new supporter asks how we could all help get the numbers up to the 10000 KD would love to achieve

Jools as hit it on the head - it wont happen with catastrophic gliches like last week --we will just be classed by "possible converts" as a nearly / also ran team
If / IF only wed competed and run Wigan close prior to this weeks Catalan game many possible future supporters who wached on Sky would have thought --"They did damn well/ They gave it their best / They were unlucky " etc But it was a total fiasco lets be honest

The best way of getting the train back on the track is to start putting it right -and continuing in the next (hopefully) three games
Play their hearts out - show some pride and passion and do the job !

That way over the close season -it will give ua the "converted" something to "work with" on getting new converts

I HOPE SO !

From a Wigan fans view on last week you were awful, not sure if you were even that good!
The fact still remain that you've beaten Wigan twice this season and convincingly so the team has good performances in them. Most important for this week you may well have Danny boy back. I doubt you can be that bad two weeks running.

Catalans are a poor travelling team. If they have to travel on two consecutive weekends they almost always lose on their second trip. I think they'll lose this coming weekend.

A Huddersfield win by 16!
