Such an utterly ridiculous statement about a player you've probably seen play a handful of times.

Seen him play many times thanks and if the refs ever decide to enforce the rules around the PTB his stats will take a massive hit.
He's still better than Aiton though

Are you serious?

He's very good but scooting quickly from dummy half, after his team mate's taken 2-3 steps off the mark, 300 times a season doesn't make him a MOS.

If scooting from dummy half gets you 12 tries, 6 assists, 590 tackles, 2,637 metres made, 92 tackle busts then I am more than happy. I guess Peacock's 1 try more than makes up for it.

Yep, because it's all about scoring tries after all.
Wonder how many of those metres were made from scooting following an illegal PTB? And he's still made less metres than old man JP.

Watch him score a full length match winning try at Wembley now

Lets get some order here and take the club tinted glasses off.

JP dominated Chris Hill on Saturday. In the first half alone JP made 16 carries and two offloads compared to Hills 4 carries and 0 offloads (Not the stats of a MOS in a semi final) Was it not blatantly obvious so see JP eating up the yards down the middle time and time again?

Clark is an outstanding player and can easily cause Leeds all sorts of problems at Wembley. Like I said its between him and JP for MOS, either of them will deserve it.

JP is a tremendous player, and to keep going at this stage in his career speaks volumes for his value to any team. However, if he won the MOS, it would prove how weak SL really is.

Clarke is currently 8th in metres per carry, and not far behind Peacock in the overall. I'd love to tell you where the next forward of any stripe comes in metres per carry but whoever it is is outside the top 50.

Putting your obvious bias to one side. Can't you see the possible consequences of JP winning such a prestigious award over many younger players?

If we're going to talk about penalising every infringement then Peacock would have to stop running onto forward passes every time he takes the ball up, he'll have to stop punching blokes half his size and also stop abusing the referee and calling him a cheat.

Out of interest, when did Hill pick up that dubious finger in the eye injury?

One things pretty obvious, a finger couldn't have caused the injury. That is, unless there was a Leeds player with a finger made of titanium. Come on, give it a little thought.
