Hull club owner, Adam Pearson, wrote about Liam in the programme notes for their last home game of the season:

"Rich (Richard Horne) will also be joined by Liam Colbon and Chris Tuson in hanging up their boots tonight, although sadly neither of them will get the chance to take to the field for one last time. Both players are fantastic professionals and even better people, so it is pleasing to know they too will remain around the club over coming years.


Liam is set to launch a new business that will see him remain involved in sport and will cross paths with Hull FC, whilst Chris has taken up a position in our football department. We wish them both very well in their future career"

I suppose it depends how much time he's going to have to invest running his business but it'd be nice to think he could be with us for next season.

After his first game v Batley away when he played on the wing ,I have impressed with him. Hope he signs up for next season !
