IMHO right centre is the hardest position on the pitch to defend and from I remember of seeing him at academy he always pkayed left.So down to the mix of Yeamos dominance of the left side and Crooks partnership with Lineham and doing so well , then he's been kept on the right and whilst playing so well the issue didn't seem so prominent.
I don't know too much about his youth rugby but I would hazard a guess he played in a fairly decent team so for the majority of that he would not have needed to defend, you then get to the hard end of the career pathway and these decencies come to show, by that time it is very hard to fully correct things although they can be worked on and that goes for even being under the guidance of world class coaches.
Bens still a young lad, a lot of people forget that, yes he's lucky to be doing what's he done and thousands of kids would love to be were he is, but he has got other influences and ideas aswell.
