Moves are being made finally after 25 years to acquire an RL pitch in Ireland that will be available for solely RL use 12 months of the year. This will be a massive boost to the domestic scene & will enable the sport to finally start to develop in a meaningful way.

Where's it going to be?

Must be difficult trying to get anything done in the ROI at the moment.

I always like the Tallaght when we go. It's the best ground for RL methinks.

Just to clear any misunderstanding, its not a National Stadium being proposed. What's being looked at is a domestic pitch for solely RL use 12 months of the year so that domestic RL matches, coaching sessions etc can be held when ever needed. Would be great to have one in each province, but for the moment one might be on the cards, so its likely to be in the M50/M7 area assuming somewhere suitable can be leased.

Right, I get you, so I pitch to use for training and club games solely for RL. That'll be excellent.

Just need to sort the domestic scene out and we're on our way.
