That lad Lynne needs to practise passing a rugby ball cos his passing from play the ball in second half was truly shocking.
He clearly cannot pass the ball of his left side. Collis, his fellow centre, showed just what a gulf in class there is between them.

Reverted to type for me. Showed glimpses of what he can do recently but shrunk back into the rabbit in the head lights act. I'd still be tempted to play him on the wing, he's never a centre.

Yes thought that myself when ali broke and passed it to him and he didn't back himself to go on the outside. Surely we would be better putting Riley who has shown in his career that he can finish outside Collis who has the ability toput his winger away

Think this is hard on Lynne. He's been good this year mostly and one of the positives. Played pretty well at centre too and I'm happy for him to stay there. Today clearly wasn't at his best but bar Anderson, McShane and Godinet many others didn't really take to the field today.


Collis this season has been an expensive luxury. After how he's played lately its a little harsh on Lynne is this to knee jerk him back to wing after one mediocre game.

With hindsight, I think Ali would have been better going it alone but would probably have lost the ball going over the line today.

Ali left it way too late to pass to Lyne...if he had passed it as soon as he broke through then we would have scored, but by the time he did pass, Burns had got back and Lyne ran straight into him. At the next scrum a few seconds later, Ali was puffing like a steam train, so it has obviously taken a lot out of him...not his best game, but he wasn't the only one. Everything that went right in the Salford game went wrong yesterday, but that's sport for you I guess !!!

Exactly this, Ali had probably his worst game in a wakey shirt which just about sums up the game. Yes lyne made a couple of bad passes but none as bad as the ones from sykes and godinet, so not sure why he is being singled out.

I think we went out there knowing we had a very weak pack so tried to play around them instead. It backfired spectacularly but I don't think we would have been playing that way with a few more first choice forwards available.

Think you could add riley to that list i thought he really tried and was prob the best
