Brilliant post match interview with JG on the club website. The bloke just fills you with so much confidence and says our pre-season training starts on 3rd November, we’re only 1 of 3 full-time squads in the Championship, will be spending up to the cap and lots of other snippets of news. Shame we lost but in a way, I didn't care too much. It was good to see a competitive game. I've managed two previously this season (Hull and Widnes) and they were so depressing.

So I'll probably make the long trek again a few times next season to see Joe's boys, old and new, playing with passion.

Agree an enjoyable game, apart from first 10 minutes. Loss is neither here nor there.

Key is now to get arrangements in place for next season
