RED A bit of genuine hope. Close enough to the new season I can almost smell it. City breaks. Two weekends sans grog and counting. Zero Dark Thirty - Class film. DEAD Shocking choice, poor golfer with a mediocre Ryder Cup record http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/golf/21034093 Swinton, how I wish it was. Can't we just pave over it and charge people to park and ride into town?

- Christmas and new year with the family and friends
- birthday night out...very very messy but an awesome night out
- birthday present from the missus, unbelievably awesome
- actually going to a Salford game and enjoying it again
- most probably the ridiculously positive news about Salford with all this take-over, stadium and new signings talk...fingers still well and truly crossed on that manner
- excellent and positive appraisal in work for this past year, certainly helps by NOT calling tenants moaning old w@nkers!!
- England winning in India at long last
- cricket season just around the corner
- stag do in the process of being arranged
- forthcoming wedding getting sorted too
- RVP at Nited, miles better than I thought he would be
- the Cleverley and Carrick CM partnership for Nited

- me having a dream where I was playing for Sale
- peope dissing the appointment of the unanimous players' choice for Ryder Cup captain...the backing of the world number 1 not enough??
- snow and ice
- that new Salford change kit...white = good but that purple effort on it is horrific
- office moaners about it being cold...a) it is winter and b) wear some proper fricking winter clothes

RED Deep fried halloumi. Danish girls. Super Vale away. Pulled pork burgers. Free trips to Gaucho. This bar. Breaking my 10km PB twice in as many weeks. Taking a horror of a dump in the work toilets and the CEO then using the same trap straight after me. The view from the 42nd floor of the HSBC tower in Canary Wharf.
