One negative to redress the balance was a reported loss of £5m from the club’s sister company, SuperStadium Management
Company Limited (SMC), who run and lease the KC Stadium.
That includes “write offs to the stadium mortgage inherited from the previous ownership” and contributes to a joint loss for City and the SMC of £1.7m for a full 12 months of trading.
City’s accounts include that a provision of £6.33m was made against amounts due from Superstadium Management Company Limited (SMC) but hopes of recovering some of that money have subsequently been dashed.
