I think it would be wonderful if Leeds win it from 6th, they have already done it from fifth twice. I just goes to show what a strong competition we have. Mind you, I do have a small question.. why do we need league games to sort out positions if anybody can win the competition anyway ?

I figured saints would beat cas and get club call, then out of wire and leeds, pick leeds on account of their respective record against both and the fact leeds would be lower ranked.

One thing is for sure, it'll be leeds, wire or wigan that will win it. If leeds are mentally and physically ready they will have as good a chance as any.

How times have changed, look how the Saints view Warrington now, as a team to be feared. They seem to have this psychological block when they see the primrose and blue jersey their players freeze up.

after we beat you in the 2012 gf, the majority of your fans that i spoke to after the game seemed some what peeved that we could win it from 5th yet again and that it wasn't a fair?
the ones i spoke to even said that they wished that they had tossed it off like leeds did and would relish a 5th place finish

can warrington now deliver the goods from the obviously easy route of 5th?

Their record against you at LP is especially poor and they were touched up just 2 weeks ago. Opposite side of the coin, since Mcdermott took charge at leeds they have won 7 from 8 regular season games against leeds, and did beat leeds a few weeks ago, so if it came to it i think they'd plump for leeds.

I think wigan wire and leeds will be happy with whatever route they take as long as thery avoid each other for as long as possible.

They can absolutely win it from 6th, I think Wigan and Leeds are the teams to beat. We can absolutely beat any team left in the competition, it's requiring the consistency to win 4 tough games on the run that concerns me about our chances.

If Leeds do win the GF from their finishing position it will confirm that three quarters of the season is meaningless despite the claims of some on here....Why bother watching the game before the regular season ends ?
