I am sad you feel this way Pete I really am and to be honest it makes somebody like me who has put in over 20 years of continuous support to the club through the former Supporters Club and now the Trust by being on committees and boards think why bother? When you get criticism despite doing your best and putting a lot of money the clubs way directly and indirectly it makes you think about packing it in, it seems endemic at Halifax RLFC to p*ss people off and cause them to withdraw their support, why I don't know as right now this club needs ALL the fans and help it can get. I know you are not the club but I have seen this attitude from both staff and Board members through the years, it cannot carry on as there will be ever fewer fans left at this rate.

Jon, this my point, the Trust should be telling people what goes on, advertising what they do, how they do things. Be open. Build it and they will come. Not a society where you have to join to see what is going on.

The one year I was a member I got sent naff all, given naff all and told naff all!

Funny enough I have seen the newsletters since my membership expired! They are good but the masses need to see them and the membership needs to be clearer what it is for.

The funds raised are great and at no point did I "diss" the work just the open-ness of the society and lack of transparency.

The Supporters Trust will be holding it's September Meeting this Wednesday 3rd September in Forum Room 1 East Stand 8pm start, We hope to have some of our Under 20's attending. Non-Members interested in The Trust welcome,
