Not sure why hull would want another rookie fullback tbh.
If Curtis goes to Hull then he's backed up one bad decision with another. First he goes to the roosters where he had absolutely zero chance of ever getting a game at fb, and now if he goes to hull he'll have shaul in front of him as well.

Gutted if we don't re-sign him. Properly gutted

Was very highly rated here and in his one performance with is, he looked very good. Good under high ball, fast.

Left in a bit of a strop, seemed to think despite only bring 18 and it being his first season full time, he should have been playing ahead of Brett Kearney. Hopefully he's matured down under as he certainly has the talent.

It was less that he should be picked ahead, more that he felt he should be in the same wage bracket

Well if that’s the case then he’s deluded.

On his ability he’s very quick and looked ok under the bomb. Defensively he’s a bit weak but a lot of that I think is down to him having a slight physique in comparison with SL players.

If he goes to Hull he’ll be second fiddle to Shaul who is miles ahead of him. Decent back up mind but I wonder if Naughton’s going to knuckle down and realise that’s all he is at the moment. If he came back to us he’s probably be second fiddle to Mullaney unless we don’t sign a halfback.

Put in that light it's probably not such a poor decision to go to hull as nothus made out. 2nd choice in a SL team to a relatively inexperienced FB. Opposed to 2nd choice in a championship side against an ex NRL player who was very highly rated down under ( a young Brett hodgson was common comparison in oz papers). Think he has more chance of displacing shaul than mullaney. Would have loved to have seen him back but can understand his reasoning.

Wonder if he'll take on the assistant coach job? Also it seems to have gone quiet on the Langley joinging the player conditioning team too.

Lowes still has a very small staff.

Diskin was reluctant to be involved in the coaching side of things when FC & LSH were shown the door. Perhaps he'd be more suited to an assistant coaching position?
