Centurions Urge Fans to Support Our Rising Stars of the Future
Leigh Centurions today urge their loyal fans to support the rising stars of the future at the Under 20's Grand Final at LSV on Friday 5th September, kick off 8pm. The visitors are Sheffield Eagles who will no doubt prove a tough test for Paul Anderson’s players who have scored over one thousand points this season and lost just one league game. Centurions Director Steve Openshaw today asked for the backing of the Centurions fans. He said: "These players are a joy to watch. The commitment and professionalism shown this year really is a credit to not just Paul Anderson and his backroom staff, but to the players both collectively and as individuals. “Throughout the Club we have supported them from day one and treat them as equals - they are our rising stars and fully deserve to play their final on the LSV pitch in front of our fans. “Our supporters have been nothing short of brilliant all season with the first team, home and away. On Friday we'd ask them to share that support with the talent coming through the system. “This isn't just a 20's game, it’s a Grand Final and just as importantly a huge chance to show our younger players just what playing for our club and our town really means. We'd love our fans to help show them". The West Stand shall be open for the match and tickets are available at £5 for adults, £3 concessions, and free to accompanied under 12's. Hospitality is available for just £25 per person which includes buffet dining and executive box viewing. Email touchdown@leighrl.co.uk for bookings or contact the ticket office on 01942 487887. Turnstiles open from 6:30pm and fans are urged to purchase tickets early from the LSV ticket office during the week. The Legends Bar is unavailable due to a pre-booked event but the main Banqueting Suite is open before and after the game for up to 160 supporters on a 'first come first served' restricted numbers basis. The concourse bar shall also open and a special match programme is on sale priced only £1. |
