I never suggested it was all his fault. In fact, the worst England player on the day by a country mile for England was Ryan Hall who was utter garbage. Nonetheless, his brain fart failure to kill the game with less than two minutes to go (a game-killing strategy which comes naturally to him in a Leeds shirt by the leisurely tempo playing standards of SL) followed up by his dying seconds brain fart played a huge role in the defeat.
I appreciate it's difficult for most Leeds fans to accept that Kev ought to be viewed as anything less than a god at international level, but I'm afraid his performances at that level throughout his career speak for themselves.
There really ought to be no debate here. He's retired from internationals and it was the right decision. He should have bitten the bullet after the disastrous World Cup in 2008 and retired then. He's an excellent player and skipper according to the yardstick of SL playing standards.
