Can't come soon enough.

Wood and England looked poor tonight as well.

I didn't think they did so bad. England's made huge strides and he made good yards tonight for me.
(no pun intended). Woody upped his game after that 3rd try (I think) where he was at fault but upped his game and was part of a great Wire comeback.

England is coming on leaps & bounds in his first SL season but one of the areas that is giving the team real problems is the stupid ,unnecessary passing where everybody watching knows before hand where the ball will finish up. The forwards are giving everything but if bad playmaking & ball distribution decisions & execution are being made, resulting in more ball on the ground, then the team will keep putting itself under increasing pressure.
Unless this problem is solved then Clark & Sims won't be the saviours everyone expects. The team in possession controls the game & we need to respect the ball more to retain possession.

I was saying to my brother all through the first half; we need a plan B. Throwing it around works at times but situations arise were sticking it up the jumper and running in 5 drives and a kick is the way forward. We're halfway there as in we do runs from dummy half and make good yards, but then we get to the 3rd or 4th tackle and we'll try to throw it around, resulting in knock ons or interceptions. Kick it down field and get a good chase in. We did this in the last 30 mins and it worked. Against big opposition, like what we're facing in the coming weeks, we need this plan B.

Off the cuff rugby looks great & stylish when it comes off ,but many times a loose pass can turn attack into defence & at times we look very disjointed whereas Huddersfield last night & Leeds & Wakefield were at least all singing from the same hymn sheet when they beat us. Rugby is a team sport & sometimes safe is best.

Exactly! Last night, Brough was key to Huddersfield, he led them and caused trouble. We need that commanding 6. I'm just hoping the new HB is somewhat decent!

Compare and contrast with our halfback pair. Brough would be ideal for us and he seems a lot more mature as a person now.

TS seems to have beef with him for some reason though, remember him publicly commenting about his attitude or lifestyle only a couple of years back.

They are rugby players not choirboys & as the old saying goes "All work & no play makes Danny a dull boy ."
