Luke Gale is no loss at all - He'd struggle for a starting spot at a top side.

Gale---good riddance.
Not finding touch regularly from a penalty and woeful kicking game has nothing to do with playing behind a beaten pack imo.He lacks the ability to concentrate fully for 80 minutes and the wild passes he throws around are just not good enough.If by any chance he get's into the England team V Aussies/NZ then a cricket score will ensue.He's not really up to SL class never mind International Class.I have never seen him put a string of good performances together,so just not good enough if you want to go places.
Good to luck to Powell with him though.
Give me O'Brien from Wire any day of the week as you can see he has the basic talent waiting to come out imo.

He also spends most of the game looking at his feet, presumably to discern whether or not they are stuck in treacle.

Any way, he's gone. The thread is about new/re signings. O'brien would be an excellent replacement. Any more word on Walshaw and Shaw?

Only time will tell , like a lot have said gale may perform better in a different environment. Good luck to Luke in the future

Anyway looking forward to the signings tomorrow . Gareth oB and a couple of young lads would be great. Another prop and conroy + mellor would be hooker and props sorted then. Gareth oB and Brock would be the halfs sorted as mullaney could play there if we need cover. After tomorrow we will have 20 players signed. Building nicely

At least we know one of the new signings tomorrow is Danny Williams going by the photo they accidentally put on twitter earlier on.

I thought brock and bates were already signed up , guessing club wanted to announce them under jimmy . So yeah it is 18 not 20
