Tragically aslo great players like Paul Gallen, Jeremy Smith and Paul Aiton. Bad news for the game - these players were given bad advice but are ultimately responsible for what they put in their bodies.

As he hasn't played since 2012, he might get offered a backdated ban and his two-year sentence may be considered spent.

A thought - would this affect the players involved chances of getting a work permit for this country?

No he has a Spanish passport so under EU freedom of movement rules no problemo. A similar route used by the german passport holding Josh Drinkwater.
