Hi folks I'm over in Fax for the weekend , can anyone recommend a good Greek or Italian Restaurant within close proximity to the town centre.

There are some fine Thai restaurants. Greek & Italian bog standard and overpriced. Try Leeds

Jeff you haven't tasted ethnic Minestrone and Spaghetti , take a trip to Napoli , and tell em Charlie sent you .

Would you believe that although it's Wembley weekend we got sick of being stuck on the M6 for hours. Last year we did Birmingham so this year its the weekend in Fax for plenty of beers and the game , plus the Ebor on saturday....

Rubbish there are quite a few Julios underneath the White Swan Hotel is a very good Italian and reasonably priced especially their early bird offer, there is the Three Olives Greek restaurant which is quite good, Riccis Place is very good, Riccis Tappas & Chichetti at Dean Clough is excellent not sure how good the other Italian restaurants are like the one which was Shakespears and that one which was Heath pub?
LaLuna is very popular I have only done lunch there and its okay.

Julios does decent food and a cheap earlybird , but in a basement and a bit dim. Cafe Sapporo, was called little italy , now doing meals Sat evenings . Villa Verde nice food poor atmosphere. Riccis always booked up sats.
Thai food : Thai corner superb , must book sat night.
Metro is bistro style decent food nice place ,again must book sat night.
