Quite, but, in every walk of life you would hope that there was an element of a person at least doing their best. If our boy was doing his best then a few complainants on here might alter their view. However, I must say that if that is his best then surely professional pride would kick in? Anything else unless, he's been playing through an injury we don't know about, is taking the mick out of his team mates, the club and the supporters he's not daft and must know himself it's not good enough. He can't be happy despite picking up a wage

Tonys job is to make that decision for him! Maybe Roy takes to the field each time thinking his form of five years ago might magically reappear. It is for Smith to say 'enough now Roy it ain't happening'

I believe he has a similar voice to Lionel Ritchie and performs a very creditable version of "dancing on the ceiling"....

and here lays the problem

Roy is Smith's signing. He came with a big reputation, which has not been lived up to. This makes Smith's judgement look dodgy. Smith continues to play Roy, in the vain hope that he can aspire to play to the level of a Championship 2 player. We're still waiting for that entity.

Let's not beat about the bush, he's garbage, he's not going to get any better, even with 15k screaming his name week in week out.
I'm in charge of people, in a relative situation I wouldn't put up with it, in fact he makes me angry, it makes me angry that I played for Golborne Parkside as a kid and tried and trained because I so much wanted to play for Wire in front of a Wilderspool crowd screaming my name and I was never good enough and I now have to do a 400 mile round trip to watch a game and pay to watch THAT lazy piece of s... not only get paid (money I contributed to) but stand there unashamedly doing nothing while 16 other lads bust a gut and another lad sits on the sideline thinking "I tried my hardest in training and that guy is playing AGAIN".

I'm seething, I'm so angry I no longer CAN support him, his very presence on the field offends me and the best of it is I actually WANT the chance to tell him this to his face, I'm not a keyboard warrior, I want him to know that I am passionate about this club and I want him to show just 1/10th of the passion I have for this club.

I want him to be good, I want it more than anything BUT he's so past it a glue factory would reject him and no amount of support or faith will change that.

Best Asotasi post this season by a country mile. Well said that man
