Morals mean nothing to YCP and their Directors, if they did we'd have a half built stadium and a handover date in the diary by now!
I've said before and I'll say it again, they've shown their hand and have zip, zero, nada, absolutely no intention of paying a penny towards sports facilities and or a stadium.
The only way to get anything out of this debacle is to bring in support from The Office of The SoS, WMDC, Local MPs and any other form of big guns that are possibly at our disposal. I said this months ago and was told that upsetting Colin Mackie could be counter productive, well how far has he budged under the weight of our moral argument. Businessmen like him have no morals or shame when £Millions are at stake.
They are still all off on their summer recess until next month aren't they so theres not much hope in getting them to do sod all til after that.
But i have to agree that the likelihood of YCP suddenly gaining a conscious is slim so i hope there is some scope for legal action and a hole in their argument. I have a feeling that once again this is going to take an awfully long time to resolve.

Well I'm so glad your here to tell us what to do?
Sorry, but everything you say has been covered, and much much more. I can't put on here much of what is ongoing - you either need to get involved or trust us to do what we can!
Morals may not mean owt to YC, but there's still a value in them, one way or another!
They never had. It was always likely to be a mortgage!
Maybe the club should have resisted getting into bed with them in the first instance although I do understand there wasn't many other options available at the time.

The club / Trust were led to them by WMDC. WMDC are the parties named in the 106. There was nothing wrong with the deal, but everything wrong with the detail.
WMDC have plenty more attachment to YC, they are in it up to their wotsits!

That's not helpful Tigerade. We can all be clever after the fact.

Given what we have learned, I would be very careful about getting too carried away with the current Tigers Stadium plans. There are big costs involved in the roadworks, bank formation and landscaping, as well as the stadium - that's a lot of money from not that big a development pot!

So us oiks and plebs aren't allowed to have an opinion or a discussion about it then!
No need to appologise, I wasn't having a go at you or anyone else but you have to accept that you can't expect us to picket the Town Hall, write statements on the Councils planning portal, sign petitions and sit through Public Inquiries but then be quiet and not have an opinion.
When YCP have finally walked off having not paid a penny nor built a sports facility we can all console ourselves that we were moraly in the right, while in the business world morals mean nothing when money's involved and Colin Mackie won't lose a wink of sleep over whether he was moraly wrong.
I'll support you and the Trust and the club all the way through to the end but don't expect me not to have a voice.
