I don't think Cas have any choice but to try to recruit some rough diamonds or unknowns with potential (Chase probably fit both these categories when he was signed). We can't spend to the salary cap and we aren't a club that internationals are fighting to come to. If he's prepared to knuckle down and give his all for the shirt he deserves our support.
Mixed feelings on this one, certainly has some talent but has seemed intent on wasting it in the past, but i cant imagine he will cost much and its only a one year deal so may well be worth the risk, when he puts on black and amber he will have my support.

As I've said to some mates, I think he is an improvement on Ryan McGoldrick at a fraction of the cost. Win-win for Cas as I see it. Millward must've laid down the law to JT before signing him so I'd expect him to toe the line.

I do hope so, lass that works with me said 'i've heard cas have signed my mate jordan tansey, he's a right wreckhead!
Interesting comments by Basil in rugby league press today.
Apparently, Tansey kept calling him and the club and pestering for an opportunity. Millward also did his homework and spoke to several people including the RFL's Emma Rosewarne.
Sounds like Tansey is eager to make amends and Millward made it clear in the article that it was his last chance.

Basil mentioned all that on our website last week, and after the farce at Widnes last monday, I considered pestering Basil for a game too!
