England won 26 - 22 after being behind for the majority of the game, last try came in the last move of the game.
The game was tough and after a slow start the England games got the game together, this was their first game together.

We were in the area today and called in, never seen womens RL before but was very impressed with the standard, some of the tackles made me wince!
England scraped the result in an extremely even game, the only negative being no bars were open and we had a five minute walk to Headingley centre for a swift one at half time.

Was your daughter playing Norm? My girl was no.13 for Bordeaux. It was also their 1st game together after just 1 training session, a great effort by both teams. A pity about the video being in small format!

She had a great game and fully deserved player of match, hope they all enjoyed the trip.
My daughter was playing 12 but got injured just before 1/2 time and physio would n't let her back on, much to her displeasure.
