OT: Greg Mackey : Fri Aug 01, 2014 10:19 am
More noted for his exploits for Warrington and Hull Fc but was also a pretty decent player for us in his time here even though it was at the back end of his career(96-97?)
Anyway those that do remember him will be saddened to here that he his battling against bowel cancer, was diagnosed in 2011 with it and has now been told it is terminal.... such a shame I'm sure those of us who do remember him, in the C&G or just as a classy half-back in general will wish him all the best in his battle, i know i will offer my best wishes to him and his family !!. If anyone is interested there is a donation page set up to raise funds for his treatment ....https://www.justgiving.com/Greg-mackey7/ |
