Also had the heads up that Andy Ellis from Fev is in advanced talks with us. I can see the logic in this as I don't think Milner has shown enough this year. I think Clarky being so good has taken the emphasis away from Milner's frailties. He was poor to say the least on Thursday. Ellis is very well thought of at Fev and I'm sure he could make the step up with Powell's guidance.

What is actually happening with Owen - there was no official "he is no longer a Cas player" and Powell seemed to allude that he may come back

Think this is a load of rubbish personally, as I also believe the Ellis rumours too.

Scott Moore is the hooker coming in. Solomona is Owen's replacement, who will be staying at Wakefield next season.

Think we should be looking at a transfer fee of 100k at least as he has another year after this on his contract.

Would seem strange if you did sign him as our Owner said he had a meeting this week or next to sort another contract out but things do happen.

I am pretty certain we wouldnt let him go without a fee though.

heard this 2 weeks ago from a ex fev director but that he had signed.

I was speaking to a friend of mine yesterday who said he had been talking to Ron Hill and Motu Tony yesterday. Apparently Huby is definitely going and Crooks is definitely coming in

Ben Crooks is great going forward but his defence is very poor. He got away with it last season because of his try scoring.Yes is confidence is low and as been since wembley when gentle played him half fit.I would like to see him stay but he would have to improve his defence to get regular spot

Has his defence deteriorated since radford took over then ?
