Probably worse than it sounded, I am convinced those players didn't want to win. If they did they should be ashamed.

Yes we were that bad. Horrendous completion rate, trying to force the pass, stupid penalties. Dan Sarginson in particular had a game to forget.
George Williams was heavily strapped up from the start and Goulding as was Goulding after half time. I never criticise effort, but application and patience was very poor today.

From minute one, Bradford looked as if they wanted it more. All 17 players showed little or no enthusiasm. Sarginson in particular had an absolute 'mare. Not really fair to single him out though as the rest were equally poor.

We never got going. We gave away 3 penalties in the first 3 minutes and things went rapidly downhill from there. It was the lack of effort off the ball that really killed me. I didn't see anybody push themselves any further then the very basics of make an attempt at a tackle if a player came near you or take the ball up if it happened to come to you. There was no support play at all (as evidenced when Ben Flower made a break and nobody got within 30 yards of him), no lads piling in to tackles, nobody busting a gut to chase a kick and so on.

We can pick out individuals all day (as I'm sure Sarginson will be) but that was appalling from the whole team. I don't think a single player came away with any credit apart from possibly Manfredi (who was no better then solid).

Worst performance all season, really hope that's our blip and it gives us a kick up the back side now because Salford is going to be a very hard game on Thursday.

As well as the 3 you mention, Wigan have also lost at Hudds and Leeds in West Yorkshire this season.
It would be interesting to know how long it is since this last happened.

Completely lacking in professionalism and respect for the opposition. Defeated by our own hubris, as we thought we just had to turn up to win today.

Bradford wanted it more today.

I would imagine some of these players are in for the hardest 3 days of their careers so far.

am i right in saying that wigan have lost every game in west yorkshire this season?
