For me the important games are Hudds and Cas as they are either side of us atm, 4 points there and we'll be 4th/5th. Cas have the easiest run in so 5th most likely. Wins at Saints and Wigan will be a great way to start the playoffs, but unlikely to beat Wigan. Saints a possibility due to their injuries.


Furthermore, 4 of our remaining 5 SL games are on TV. Will this be advantageous, a burden, or null in regards to our performances?

Quite possible to lose all 5 and finish 7th

I think go full guns for the CC, granted it's 2nd prize but I genuinely don't think we have the team for a GF win this year.

yeah, CC win, 98% of people will be happy, and it'll potentially cover up a few cracks.

But who are better that us? Leeds aren't, Saints are decimated with injuries, the Giants are bumbling along and nothing more, Cas are playing well, but they don't have the play off / big game experience which is vital come September. Wigan are Wigan good one week and average after that.

The G/F teams this season really can be any 2 of 6, but if I had to bet I would select any 2 from Us, Leeds & Wigan, with injuries & form proving crucial.

Agreed. As long as we can perform like we did against Saints and Leeds last time we met, we'll do okay. Saints will struggle with their injuries and Leeds will lose to Wigan or Cas. I'd go out on a limb and say a Wire v Wigan GF.

Please note: by "out on a limb" I mean I dont think we'll reach the GF and am being optimistic. A push for the CC will do me nicely.
