Sad to see Mick go. He's had some very good games for the club over the years.

He didn't play for Gateshead last weekend, but thinking about it, he probably wouldn't be qualified as he hadn't played played three games for them.

Sorry to see him leave always highly rated in my book and like Edwards a good player we have lost.

Mick was part of the team that got our upward momentum going, and during that time was awarded player of the season. For this he needs to be thanked.

Unfortunately we seemed to outgrow him for one reason or the other in the last couple of years and he found it increasingly difficult to show any form after falling out of the starting line up, a few of us suggested a few months ago that we thought he would never play for us again. It is best for him and the club that they sever ties, aloow him to move on and establish a career elsewhere.
