Some people like to throw rumours about like it's confetti

Anyway Crabtree was massive in the pack for, anyone who thinks otherwise needs to watch the game and not the highlights reel, big meters, big tackle numbers, big minutes, sucks in defenders and can win a quick ptb

Does exactly what you want a prop to do

We controlled the things we could control, didn't let the things we couldn't get on top of us and pounced on Catalan mistakes. We also never let them get back to back scores and we never once looked like losing.

It was, all things considered, a good performance. Doing things like that will win you more games than you lose. The players played with agression and confidence in the second half. Hope they can build on it.

I also don't get the knocking of Crabtree. He takes a lot out of the opposition every time he takes the ball up and always attracts 3 or 4 defenders. He is, by far and away, our most hard working prop forward.

It seems to me Jack a lot of spectators have their own favourites who in their eyes can do no wrong,I like to watch RL simply as a team sport and judge the team not individuals.It was a very good team performance.

So I looked at some stats today for the team, quite interesting reading

Crabtree
2nd most tackles made (after Bruno)
Most marker tackles made
Most meters made
Most carries made
Most tackle busts


Not so great on clean breaks but right in there for the pack, same as Bret Ferres

Yeah, what does he do eh

I rate Eorl very highly that's why i get frustrated with him, yes he attracts defenders and is good in defence but this guy won international honours by slamming into defensive lines, turning and getting an offload away, he frustrates me cos he doesn't do that anymore and seems to just stop dead on collision and at times takes an age to get up...i'm not knocking him that way, more the fact that i know what he is capable of but hardly shows it these days !

i've said before about Eorl, that he isn't as good as what he used to be, like daz says scattering defenders and getting offloads away, he is a good defender and works hard, we just don't see much in the way of go forward as much but i saw an interview with Eorl and he more or less he's had to change his game because he isn't as good as he used to be.
can't knock him on his workrate and defence at all, just doesn't offer much in attack, we don't know how much effort it takes to tackle him unless you have had the pleasure of tackling him.

crabtree attracts 4 defenders... goes down and gets a quick play of the ball... opening up the opposition defence for the next play

also maybe he would have more go forward if we could keep the ball and not making him do massive stints in defence! cant do it all

i think the problem is to often he catching the ball standing still for a big man he does have some skill with his hands and some good footwork i would like to do a kaffusia and pass and not just drive it in

I have seen no evidence that Kaifusia has as offload as part of his game.
