Can any recommend a good pub or restaurant where you could sit outside to eat on a fine summers day like today?

Doesn't have to be Warrington either. Cheshire or this side of Manchester would be fine.

Just had lunch at the JB. Was lovely.

Stop off at the Riverside at Acton Bridge on the way nice sat out by the river for a spot of tea

The Punch bowl, just outside Kendal , you won't get a better meal or a better pint of real ale.

If so - the ale choice is ok but pretty limited. The food is top notch however.
