Just wondering in which position do you all think we'll finish in as we hit the final stretch before the play offs.

Taking in mind. Castleford, Warrington and Leeds who are above us have a CC semi and a at least 1 will be in the Final.

Saints have key members out now. Walsh out is a massive blow.

Warrington seem to have lost abit of form and Wigan usually rest and lose a few before the play offs.

I think we'll 3rd.

Don't really care if i'm honest, once we weren't gonna finish top its irrelevant to me !

It's true then Daz... People stop caring when they become play off regulars about the finishing spot as long as they're in the play offs.
Thank god for the new league structure were every point matters.

Lets face it though
You cant beat being top --and we fluffed a great chance last year

The intensity cant be just switched on and off at will when the competitions more even -theres no easy rides

AND THE SOONER WE GET THAT POINT THE BETTER

Id have a banner saying that hanging from the stand facing em as they run out --if only to remind em !!
We can beat anyone when we get up for it --but sometimes take have a "week off"
It doesnt work CONSISTENCY is paramount and keep the momentum building !! its got to be more enjoyable and its what will get you silverware -and what was proved last season when we WERE the most consistent in the comp !

I never did care, top means you're the best team and you win a trophy for it. you get nothing for any other position.....and yes that's how it is to me, i want us to be the best, i couldn't care less about connotations for the play-offs, its knock out rugby so if you play better on the day you will win regardless of where you finish in the league.
It is the fault of the system and some fans care what position they're club finish as they plan their routes to the final/opposition etc i just take it as it comes and turn up to the games.

top 4 will still be a struggle but the weekends results gave the chance a massive boost.

Top 3 finish for me. Got a decent run of games remaining that's against a good mixture of SL teams who have something different to play for which should stand us in good stead for the P/O's. We'll go one better than last season too and make Old Trafford.

ideally top 4, meaning you get a 2nd go if you lose the first game.
but realistically, if we are on form and bang on we can beat anyone in a one off game, unfortunately we haven't shown that we can as of yet!

And that's our problem - we can't do it WHEN IT MATTERS! Until we do we'll be also rans - perpetual bridesmaids.
That's the huge difference between champions and also rans. It more in the head with us - we've the quality but have we the mentality?
We've now plenty of experience in the squad in Robinson, Brough, Ferres, Cudjoe, Lunt, Crabtree etc so we've no excuses this year.
