To quote SW "He's a realist. We've got Anthony Gelling, Dan Sarginson, Iain Thornley, Jack Hughes and now Joel Tomkins: all of those players can play at centre."It's a very harsh club to be at - you need to be at your best all of the time.
"He understood where he was in the pecking order. If Darrell's playing out of his skin, he's always going to be picked, but it's very tough to be at the top of your game all of the time. He thought he would have a better chance at Hull KR."
I'm trying to swap Darrells name with Eddies and I can't, its one of those managerial inconsistencies, a coach should treat all players the same, yet Eddie will be given chances - maybe because he is further up the pecking order. Now lets drop Wane out of this, all coaches do this, its a tough job deciding who stays and who goes but how comes some people get treated with a different rule book? Has Eddie been fit at all in the last few years? Was his purchase a gamble that backfired? I'm struggling to see why Darrell has to go and why Eddie was bought. Hindsight I suppose.....
