Definitely worth offering another year!

Where would we find anyone who could have a similar impact on the pitch and such positive influence off it!

World Class player in his time, still absolutely class and unique but more importantly a genuine and lovely man.

Prior to the Widnes game I'd have said that considering his age and the fact he's coming back from a lengthy injury I wouldn't have offered him a deal as I'd suggest he's probably on a decent wage. That said, he looked fit and raring to go and showed he still has the desire and crucially the impact to turn a game on it's head.

So, I'd say offer him a one year deal with an option of a 2nd year.

I will for the rest of my life when thinking of players we have had remember the Cas game at home last game last year and Ali running around like a man possesed and urging the other players on for the win Ali at his brilliant best that day.

Possibly what has counted in this decision is that Ali has missed a big chunk of this season.
Would be great to have him on board for next year, leading to a coaching role?
