Re: Bradford Post game : Mon Jul 21, 2014 12:15 pm
Let's remember firstly we aren't playing well therefore confidence must be low in the players so doing things which seems so obvious in the stands might be playing on their minds. As for Connor, yes he will need onfield coaching from the coaching staff/senior players etc but this is how he will learn, he's a super talent and he will pick things up game after game, can't really criticise him for anything at this stage of his career !!.
Broughton ??? hmm the guy is fast apparently BUT.....when do we see it because we never give him the ball with space in front to run, he won't do anything with a pass from 2 yards with a wall full of defenders in front, he is shocking in defence and a liability at the moment, i like otthers cannot actually see what he offers the team, Murphy is 10 x times better at just about everything, can't wait to have him back.
I counted 8 occasions when we lost the ball before we had reached the halfway line and there would have been ones before i started noticing too, that is a ridiculous situation and one even poor teams like Bradford and London did before will exploit way too easily.
Our tackling techniques are shocking, we had an instant yesterday where a bulls player built up a head of steam before ploughing into our defensive line (after we had waited for him to do so) 3 of ours players proceeded to grab hold of the guys shoulders thus allowing him to literally walk another 10 metres !! how on earth is 3 men grabbing shoulders supposed to stop someone ?? when did tackling round the legs become abolished from our game ??
We're becoming so frustrating to watch these days its almost painful, why are our players suddenly unable to do the basics of the game week after week ???
