I think it Has to be a step in the right direction. If it is anything like the Bolton wanderers one I'll be v impressed There are some interesting points in the article but the key thing for me is it shows how the club need to get on the front foot. When you consider the shambolic approach the Stadium Management Company has taken to ticket sales, parking, catering, finishing the stadium, landscaping, etc and yet the partners complain that Salford haven't maximised the opportunities from Barton I guess it shows that we're not able to win those fights because of the failings within the club. If wilkinson gets the Reds' house in order we'll be in a much stronger position to take on the SMC on the impact they are having on fans Oh and Tarry clearly got a kicking in the consultant's report. Nothing against him personally but hopefully him going is the start of a number go changes that are needed

They needed to pay management consultants to find out why fans are disgruntled?

Matt Parish would have told him for nothing,surely we are not putting all the ills of the organisation down to one man
are we? Surely the firm from Cheshire have told him what we really need is investment.

After what has been found out by the review so far, it seems the so called 'dinosaurs' on here have been proved right so far.

Two concerns. The club missed a massive opportunity to have the match day experience in place for the start of the season. Now they need a management consultancy to come up with ideas that are obvious to the supporters.

The stadium needs an identity, there is little for fans to feel ownership, compare that to saints. Many of these things can be changed depending on the season, fans flags etc.

I hope the club doesn't allow Steuer Gregsson to finish their review and leave the club without sponsorship. I did notice the Scottish soccer club that Alex Ferguson left because they didn't have enough money for him to spend,now have their supporters paying £10 a month to buy the club Story I have been reading the Forever Reds thread and their efforts to assist the Academy - a bit like Wakefield Even in my current impecunious state I can manage a tenner a month.(I think that's better than a one-off payment to Forever Reds)
