Leigh Centurions TV breaks through £20k barrier. The good news just seems to keep on coming out of Kingstone Press Championship leaders Leigh Centurions. The Board of Management has recently been delighted to note that revenues from the popular online Pay-Per-View Service, Leigh Centurions TV, have now passed the £20,000 mark since its inception on Friday 31st May 2013. Leigh Centurions TV features the very latest in player and coach interviews, as well as the most recent Centurions action and also features regular interviews with former Leigh players as part of the Club’s Heritage project. To mark the centenary of the start of World War One a recent documentary charts the contributions of Leigh players towards the war effort and commemorates the fallen. “Leigh Centurions TV is fast becoming more and more popular with the Club’s supporters and followers of Rugby League in general,” said Centurions Director Andy Mazey. "Leigh Centurions TV is a great asset to our club, run primarily by volunteers and fans, producing a first class service week-in and week-out and we are rightly proud to have such great people doing what they do to help make this great Club what it is today. Subscribing to Leigh Centurions TV only costs £3.50 a month, which is undoubtedly fantastic value and collectively as a Board we believe this wonderful service helps to make our brand more accessible and available to a wider audience. “With exclusive news on latest signings and re-signings, up-to-date interviews with current and past players, directors, coaching staff as well as high quality highlights and full HD coverage from every First-team and Reserves team fixture home and away, as well as many other exclusive features, if you are not already a Centurions TV subscriber why not sign up today?” Mr Mazey added: “Leigh Centurions TV also offers a full range of sponsorship and advertising opportunities for businesses of all sizes and with a growing subscription it is definitely a place to showcase your brand and associate your business with a team on the up.” www.leighcenturions.com/centurionstv

Brilliant ....Well Done All the Parky Clan LCTV is a fantasic product always look forward to watching it esp the highlights and coach / capt comments the piece about WW 1 was excellent Everyone involved in LCTV take a massive bow Brilliant...
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting. George Orwell
There are none so blind as those who will not see.
I agree, the WW1 tribute is fantastic, and the whole thing is well worth the money however, I do think some of the money should be spent on buying some decent sound equipment because quite often the video's are (in my opinion) spoiled by the dodgy sound quality.
Some remarkable people involved with LCTV, Fred and Dave Parkinson deserve tremendous credit for their efforts and they put nothing but 110% into everything they do week in week out.
Darren Lilly our social media manager has played a part in many productions and deserves a big pat on the back and also the very talented Emma Costello who has given some of the features and programmes to date a professional dimension.
The addition of Mike Lathom has worked in my opinion a true professional and one of the nicest men ive had the privilege to meet during my time with the club.
Special mention to Stef Sale and his company for the technical expertise which has made it all possible.
Well done to all concerned and hopefully more subscribers will continue to sign up and see what the fuss is all about!!!
It's a great, slick professional product. People only see the fantastic finished article, but the work and time that Fred and Dave Parkinson put into it is amazing and is often unseen.
To have that much of a turnover in a little over 12 months is testament to how good it really is!
Everything about the club is a joy at the moment. Social Media continues to grow well, as do our matchday crowds. Lets keep this feelgood bandwagon rolling right through the play offs and another awesome day at Headingley for us again this season!
Don't applaud just throw fivers sorry that should be £3.50 ers at LC TV of course . Speaking for myself and Dave it has been a pleasure to work as part of LC TV and a special mention must be given to Paul Rowley and the coaching staff who allow us access to the playing staff and for their (players and coaches) efforts in buying into the concept, (except for a couple of players who run like the wind when a camera is turned on anywhere near them -YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE ) But to make LC TV even better we do need assistance both on camera and on the production side of things so if you feel you can assist us please come forward and join the team.
Great service and oneto be envied sure we will get a few SL temporary fans next season . It can only get better Just a few ideas of mine would be every now and then a Live game broadcast ie long distance game say at Worky for those who can't travel charge it at a pay per view event Could we not have alive show every week on there like a night with ****** **** filmed at their home maybe like Tommy Sale for instance
How about a live beat the player at different thing like challenge Riddy to a dart match etc
How about a show for the kids
Just a thought before Fred flips he'd need help obviously
Nothing to 'flip' about Lynda, streaming a live game depends on what broadband connection the club we would stream from has and whether they would allow it (a few clubs already this season have told us that they would not) but it is not beyond the realms of fantasy that perhaps in time we will, it is something that has been in our minds for ages we would also like to stretch our sound match broadcasts to away games and Dave has tasked himself to explore this, but we are moving forward to SL and if that be the case then the rules on clubs broadcasting any game are very strict indeed be it a live broadcast or like we do a recording. Other features would need the services of other people but getting volunteers on board is extremely difficult, the local colleges/universities would be one avenue to explore but that one is for the BOM to take on board as I have contacted a couple of learning centres in the past without any success, but it does need revisiting and further exploration. But at this time more features are not possible unfortunately, now once the guys go full time then that may change as they will be around more. But again I would make a call for more volunteers to assist in producing more feature programmes.
