It's not impossible for us to sneak into the top 4 come the end of the season, although for that to happen we need an awful amount of players/tatics/decisions/potential to fall into place, along with a couple of the accepted "top 5" clubs to have inconsistent seasons. A highly unlikely/improbable scenario but one not completely impossible.
However, by the same token, it's also not completely impossible for us to finish as low as 12th (I cannot envisage a bottom two finish, no matter what may unfold). There are so many question marks surrounding the playing squad/ coaching staff/ direction of the club in general, that if those questions produce too many negative answers then we could be in for a very bumpy ride.
Looking from the outside, it's really difficult to predict how our season will pan out, although I'd wager it probably won't end with a trip to Old Trafford (unless you're going as a neutral).
