Both sides had undergone some changes in personnel and were not the teams they had been a few years before.

The difference is, the Warrington side lost its core four senior players, Leeds still had its core senior players.

If you took Sinfield, Peacock, McGuire and Burrow out of the Leeds side at the end of 2010 how many SL titles do you think they would have won after that....

That's my point Sal. Then add to it the rest of that squad still mostly have more experience of winning knock out football.

That's a very senior player's opinion based on his whole 4 years at the club. I think I will go with the opinion of someone who worked with him every day. Don't underestimate how much Leeds' 2007 title was down to the players, rather han Tony Smith. We were huge underdogs going in to that final.

TS is still the man for the job, but that doesn't mean he and the club are infallible or do not have questions to answer about policy. As for writing the season off as a transition, if that's the case then I'm sure no-one will mind the paying public for adopting that stance at the turnstiles.
