Very pleased to read that Shannon McPherson is OK. Just a thought . . Considering the amount of injuries he gets do you think he's just unluckily or do you think it has something to do with his technique??

the RFL disciplinary panel as they have ruled it as a legitimate fend,hardly a deliberate smash intended to cause injury as some of you claim it was.
if it really was that bad then im sure one of the officials on duty would have also seen it that way and appropriate action would have been taken.

glad mcpherson is on the mend, it was a right smack he took!

Clumsy deliberate what ever he used his elbow to an already injured player causing more damage, he knew that player was being treated for face injury .

In fact what they said was "Player makes legitimate attempt to fend opponent."

The clue is in the wording perhaps - in their opinion he attempted to fend off Johnson, but the result was, as I and the Touch Judge saw it, he hit him with the elbow - you may recall that the Touchie came on, flag raised and play was stopped and we were awarded a penalty. Clearly the disciplinary panel thought that was adequate - all history now!!

no, he performed a legitimate fend. If the player was so badly injured he should have come off, that's an error by your own medical staff - its a contact sport for goodness sake, or did they just tell him not to bother tackling anyone or receive the ball but just stand there and look ugly. As for the latter - did he know, I didn't know what he was being treated for I would hope our players have better things to do than watch what the medical staff are doing to an opposition player, but you know he knew - wow, you told anyone else about these powers of yours?
